AC Shadows Unveils Bizarre AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected partnership that breaks conventional predictions, the game developer has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Revealed
According to the authorized statement, "An unusual meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of prohibited practices and monstrous transformations echo through the darkness." The narrative features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.
The mission focuses on "bizarre trials and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Changes
The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Additional Features
Players who finish the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to several objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
